AMR Fence Company is a third-generation fencing business serving Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren County, New Jersey. The name AMR comes from the owner's initials and his wife's — they matched, which made the choice easy.

built in-house, not subcontracted
AMR doesn't hire subcontractors. Every job — residential or commercial — is handled by AMR's own trained crew, including a foreman who has worked alongside the owner for 25 years. That's not a small detail in this industry: subcontracting is common practice among competitors in this market, and it's one of the first corners that gets cut on cost and accountability. AMR built its business the other way — training crew members in-house and keeping the work under one roof. That extends to fabrication, too. Wood fence sections and vinyl gates are built at AMR's own Washington, NJ shop rather than shipped in from a manufacturer, which keeps projects moving without waiting on outside lead times.
